Hi I'm V. Guzman

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York. I'm a 9-11 Survivor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a father of five children residing in upstate New York. I'm an attorney. I'm an avid Marvel and DC collector.

Why I am a Mormon

Once I felt that my Heavenly Father answered my prayer as to the truthfulness of this Church, I felt the need to be baptized into His church. I have not doubted this decision since. The "Mormon" way of life which is really the Savior's prescription to be followed has brought great joy into the life of my family and myself.

How I live my faith

I'm very involved in the lives of the Youth 12-18 years of age of the Church. I have recently been given the assignment of being Bishop responsible for congregation of approximately 300 families.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

V. Guzman
There are no restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join the Church. I'm a Latino that joined the Church in the 1980's. I have never been denied anything within the Church because of my nationality. Show more Show less
