We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Ashleigh

I'm a missionary in Rome, Italy. I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and have recently finished my level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education. I plan on going to university to study Speech and Language Therapy (child) BSc (Hons) after serving a full time mission in Italy Rome. I teach the piano. I am a massive music lover and like to make music with friends in my spare time. I love to shop. I am the oldest of 3 and have one brother and one sister. I currently work as a Supply Nursery Assistant during my breaks from college. I am a seminary graduate - yes! I love my family. My parents are fantastic examples to me in every way and I am grateful for the people I have been blessed with in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed with the opportunity to be part of a family who have brought me up within the church. I know that Heavenly Father is real. I know that Jesus Christ is my Saviour. The Holy Ghost has testified to me that the church is true. I am a Mormon because I recognise the happiness that living the gospel brings to me and my family. I am a Mormon because I recognise the benefits of living the standards which are set for us. I am a Mormon because I love it and know without a doubt that the gospel is real and true.

How I live my faith

Before going on a mission, I was the Ward Music Leader and pianist which means I got to choose hymns, play them, organise musical items and organise a choir. I live my faith by attending church for 3 hours every Sunday and other meetings/activities provided for my age group. I often speak about being a Mormon and what it means to me to friends and like to share experiences I have with others. I have recently completed a 4 year course of early morning seminary!! The early mornings were hard but it was all worth it and I gained a lot from it. My family and I prepare and take part in weekly Family Home evening where we get together, uplift and strengthen one another, share experiences with one another and just spend quality time together. I believe that time spent with family is precious. Families are forever and I love mine so much. I am also currently serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Italy, Rome mission. Here I share the restored gospel with those living in the Italy Rome mission area.
