Hi I'm Abbi
I love to do anything active and outside. I love hiking on the weekends and in my down time especially when it's with my family. One of my favorite things to do on my down time is to crochet or spend time with friends and family. A little bit about who I am; I studyied for two years at Brigham Young University- Idaho and earned my Associate Degree of Science in General Studies but I would love to continue my degree in something like Nutrition or Exercise Physiology. I have always had the desire to serve outside my community and impact the world. And in March of 2013, I was been called as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints to Serve in the Philippines, Olongapo Mission for 18 months, I couldn't be more excited.
Why I am a Mormon
Living this gospel helps me reach my goals of who I want to be someday. As I strive to come closer to Christ each and every day, it has helped me to figure out who I am and where I'm going. I have been taught this gospel since I was small and I feel so blessed to be brought up with such great values and love in my home. I continue to live it in my life because it brings me closer to Christ and I know that the only way we can live with Him again is if we live the gospel he has set out for us. The holy scriptures are a great tool that I use everyday to strengthen my knowledge and testimony in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the scriptures, which include the Bible and The Book of Mormon, I know we can find truths and doctrines that relate to life's daily challenges.
How I live my faith
I love to serve those in my community and church. My favorite way to show myself and others that I know I'm making good choices is to be an example and live as if the Lord stood beside me. I try and get involved in church service by finding those who seem to need a friend and just sitting by them at social events and inviting them to hang out. Teaching those we know and love can be a great growing experience, I love teaching those I serve and tyring to find new ways to learn as well. I live my faith by trying to be better each day by realizing my short comings and bettering them through the Savior by the process of the Atonement.
