Hi I'm Ammon Robertson

I'm a Missionary in Switzerland, I'm from England and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well... I'm a Mormon. I'm done with High School and plan on studying.... who knows, at University!!! At the moment I have the wonderful opportunity and blessing to be a Missionary! I'm serving in the Alpine German-Speaking Mission and it is beautiful and amazing!!!!! I have a brilliant family. With 2 Sisters- thats right, I'm in the middle of both of them! It's brilliant, and I wouldn't change it for the world! Family is definitely one of the most important things for me and I love each one of them so much, they are all brilliant examples!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because... I know with all my heart that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church on the earth today I know that Joseph Smith really did see God the Father and the Son Jesus Christ in the Spring of 1820 where he received the First Vision. I know that the Prophet Joseph Smith restored the church to the Earth. I know that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true and are the Word of God. I know that Heavenly Father gave the Prophet Joseph Smith the power to translate the Gold Plates which we now know as the Book of Mormon. I know that the Priesthood that Jesus Christ himself held has been restored to the earth and miracles do continue to happen. I know that the Prophet Thomas S Monson is the true prophet on the earth today and is called of God to lead and direct the church in these latter-days and that his counsellors, the quorum of the twelve apostles and all other general authorities and church leaders throughout the world are called of God. I know that Jesus Christ, our brother, came to earth to atone for our sins. That through him we can be forgiven and return to live with Heavenly Father again. I am so grateful for the blessings of the temple so that we can be sealed as a family for time and all eternity. I am so thankful for being brought up in the gospel. I’m so grateful for the missionary program and for the opportunity I have to be a missionary and bring people unto Christ and allow them to receive and experience the blessings of having the gospel in their lives. I know that through reading the scriptures, listening to the prophets guidance, adhering to the standards of the church and praying to our Heavenly Father to thank him and ask for strength and guidance we will be able to choose the right and live worthily to receive all the blessings of Heaven and return to our Heavenly Father again one day. I love my family, I love the church, I love the gospel and I love my Saviour and Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

The gospel is the best thing that is in my life alongside my family. Without it I don't have a clue who I would be or what I would do with my time. I live my faith by attending church each week, studying the scriptures and spending so much precious time in prayer with my Heavenly Father. I am also a 4 year early morning seminary graduate- which was exhausting, but was definitley worth the 5.45 get-ups to learn more about all that my Brother Jesus Christ has done for me. Right now, I live my faith on a 24/7 basis, serving a full time mission in the Alpine German-Speaking Mission. I am so blessed to have this opportunity, to enable others to receive the blessings our Father in Heaven is so eagerly waiting to bestow upon them; as they come to know Him and learn about the Gospel of His Son Jesus Christ. It is such an honour to wear that little black badge to have your name followed by the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It truly is remarkable!
