I grew up in Boise Idaho. I love to play the ukulele and skimboard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old and love my family. I have a strong father and a caring mother. I am the first born and I have a younger brother and two younger sisters. We are very close as a family and enjoy spending time with one another. We love family vacations and activities that help our family feel love for each other and grow closer. I have gone to a year of college and want to go into the field of psychology as my career. I enjoy the outdoors and like to go camping and hiking and fishing and boating. I love seeing the wonders of nature and the grandeur and beauty that it is. I love watching the sun rise and set, and I love to take pictures of the nature. I love to skim board and body surf. I enjoy leather working and wood working and built my own skim board with my brother. I am deeply enjoy music and find great joy and peace in it. I love to play the piano, sing and play the ukulele. Music is very important to me in my life. I find that it takes me away from the world and all of the troubles and worries that it brings. I like choir and have been apart of high school and college and church choirs. I love to play sports and have played football, track, ultimate Frisbee, golf, basketball, backyard baseball and lacrosse. I like to cook, especially with my family even if I am not great at it. I love to learn and try new things and explore my potential. I like to read good books and watch action-adventure movies. I am an Eagle Scout and love everything that scouting represents.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and was raised faithfully by good faithful parents. As I have practiced my faith I have come to realize the truth of this gospel, the love and joy that it brings, and the blessings that come from striving to be closer to God and His son Jesus Christ. I have a wonderful family who find joy in the service of God as do many other families that are not of our faith. But something that stands out to me, something that testifies of the truth of this gospel is that families can be together forever. Our joy and love for our families will not end in the next life so why should the family itself? I can testify as powerfully as the Lord would have me that families can be together and live in eternal love and righteousness throughout all of eternity. I know that if we follow the teachings of Christ that we can find peace, love and joy greater than any mortal mind could begin to comprehend, in this life and the life to come. I know that God has established families to allow us to learn of correct principles in an atmosphere that invites love and an atmosphere that invites the Spirit to dwell and to teach all of us. I know that Jesus Christ is The Messiah. I know that our gospel is centered around His teachings and His Atoning sacrifice for us. I know that through His grace and mercy we can be forgiven and cleansed from sin and ultimately become worthy to live with our Father in Heaven in His magnificent glory forever. Through faith in Christ we can accomplish all things. I know that God has given us the gift of agency to be able to choose for ourselves. I used that agency and was baptized into the LDS church and I can testify that it was the single greatest decision of my life and my eternal progression. With baptism i was given the Gift of the Holy Ghost to help to lead and guide me to do what is right. I have felt that countless times and continue to be edified and inspired by it. I try hard to live worthily of the Spirit's presences. It is real.

How I live my faith

The way i show my faith is simple. I live it. I dive into the scriptures and "feast upon the words of Christ" because i know that "the words of Christ will tell you all things what ye should do." I strive to live the way Christ taught that we should live. I try to serve others always and go the extra mile for someone else whether i know them or not. I sing because i hope that it can touch the hearts of those who listen and help them in whatever problems or hardships that they may be going through.
