Hi I'm Kathy

I'm a Daughter, a Sister, a Wife and a Mother...and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have several children ranging from Elementary school to beyond college. I love being a mom and I loved being able to be at home to raise train and teach them. Being a mother and a house wife is very challenging and some times difficult, but very rewarding and worth the sacrifice. Many times I felt very judged for my choice to have 11 children, but I love them all very much and they are and continue to be the biggest blessing in my life! I love to create things. I use a lot of various tools to do this. I like digital capabilities of the computer, and photography. I also love using paper to make cards , scrap books and make gifts for others. I also create with yarn, fabrics, clay, wood and food. I like using these skills to bless others.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to be raised as a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but this doesn't mean I haven't had to gain an understanding of the Gospel truths I know and Love. I always remember being a young child in Primary and singing Gospel songs and feeling so loved and confident in my Heavenly Fathers Love for me. From the youngest age I just knew it was correct. I love the Savior and his wonderful atonement for me. Every time I read the scriptures I am amazed by the sacrifice he made for me, and for everyone. I feel blessed to know that he died for my sins that I can be made clean through his sacrifice.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to make the best choices everyday of my life, using the mantra's "Choose The Right" or "What Would Jesus Do". I do this also for myself as well as my children. I want them to have a great example and roll model. The Prophet from my Youth was Spencer W Kimball he had a phrase "Just DO It", and a High School teacher I had always said there is no such thing as an excuse. These rang true for me and I have always tried to live up to them. I like to be organized and have a schedule because I always function better that way. I have served in many different ways at church with Adults and Children of all ages...currently I am working with the young boys in our cub scout program. I usually seem to get called to serve in an area that needs to be organized.
