Hi I'm Breanne

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happy wife, mother, homeowner, corporate employee, college graduate, musician, dog-owner, Army sister, photographer, and designer. I play the flute and piano and compose when I can. I enjoy playing volleyball (that's how my husband and I met). My toddling baby son is adorable and happy and loves to conduct music, throw balls, and clap. We read stories and sing songs all the time. He loves to practice playing the organ with me. :) My blue Italian Greyhound–Gina–keeps me entertained and gives me something itty-bitty to love on. She's learning about "walks" right now: prancing up and down the street until something scares her or she wears out and wants to be carried. I like learning new software programs: Lilypond, Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Dreamweaver), MS Office. I guess I really like to stay busy. I always have a project going whether it be a design project, sewing project, organization (or re-organization) ;) or a fun new dish to cook. My husband and I love to read, we love road-trips (and books on tape aka cd aka iPod), we love our time together as a family, and we really love our suburban life.

Why I am a Mormon

Life certainly has it's challenges and, while I haven't spelled out what mine are, I have had my share. Reading the Bible and Book of Mormon, praying, attending Sunday worship services and other church meetings brings the Holy Spirit into my life. I feel joy as I focus on my Savior and his love for me. I recognize Heavenly Father's hand in my life (on a daily, even hourly basis). I know who I am, I know God's plan, I follow him in faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing my talents. I accompany (on organ) the congregation in our Sunday Sacrament meeting service. I work with the 12-18 year old young women, especially the 14-15 year olds. I love them all. We have weekly activities and wonderful lessons together on Sundays. We learn about each other; what's something happy that happened this week? And we pray for each other; what could you use help with this week? I also get to visit with some wonderful ladies who are graciously patient with me.
