Hi I'm Jenny

I'm a homemaker, wife, mother of 8.... and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of 8 beautiful children ranging in age from 1 to 20 years old. I love having a large family and find so much joy in serving them! I have been married to my high-school sweetheart for 22 years, and am more in love with him today than ever. I spend my days taking care of little ones and making our home a comfortable, happy place for my family to be!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon and have always believed and lived the Gospel. I have always been so thankful to have the teachings of my church to keep me safe in a very wicked world. I have seen the pain and suffering of friends and family who did not hold to our Mormon values and teachings, and it makes me so sad.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week with my family. As of right now, I have just moved into a new ward so I do not have a calling yet. In my last ward, I was the Activity Days leader, which is a group of young girls ranging in age from 8 to 11. We met twice a month for fun and uplifting activities. I read scriptures and pray every day. I choose wholesome books, T.V. shows and movies.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

I believe the reason is to test our faith: God does not need our money, but WE need the opportunity to give it. To trust in the Lord. My husband and I have a VERY strong testimony of tithing; early in our marriage, we took leaps of faith and were blessed in abundance in return. Our faith in the principle of tithing is unshakable. We have a testimony that the blessings we enjoy today are ours largely from living the law of tithing. Show more Show less

Can husband and wife be together forever? Do you believe that families will live together in heaven?

If I ever thought that I would not be with my dear husband some day, I would not be able to go on. He is everything to me, and knowing that I get to be with him forever is such a blessing. I absolutely believe families can be together forever; a loving God would WANT this for us! Family is what life is all about! :) Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

We do not smoke or drink alcohol or coffee. We do not see R-rated movies. We go to church every Sunday. We try to live uplifting, Christ-like lives. We try to love others and help when we are needed. Show more Show less
