Hi I'm Brad

I'm a married graduate student who enjoys the outdoors. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 27 year old and unfortunately I'm still in school. I guess I could've quit a while ago, but I decided to go to graduate school. I'm working on a masters in chemical engineering, and look forward to when I'll be able to put it to use to make money. I've been married to my wonderful wife for three years now, and I've discovered that I love here more everyday. My wife and I enjoy watch movies and playing video games together, but our real passion is hunting. My wife grew up hunting and introduced me to it after we were married, and now it is something we love to do together.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a strong Mormon family. We always went to church every week as well as read the scriptures and prayed as family every night. My parents taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ and taught me how I should live, but once I became old enough I had decide for myself. Through answers to my prayers I know that that what my parents taught me is right, that Jesus Christ's church is here on the earth today and is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. That Thomas S. Monson, is a true modern-day prophet, who leads and guides us through direct revelation from Christ. I know that Christ atoned for our sins and rose again, providing a way for us to repent and be cleansed, so that we may all be able to return to live with our Heavenly Father again. It is because of the testimony that I gained for myself that I served for two years as a missionary in Alberta, Canada. To share the with everyone the joy that comes from following in the footsteps of our Savior. The testimony that I gained all those years ago still burns bright inside me and that is why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving following Christ's teachings and examples. This means being a a good person and caring for your fellow men, but also loving the Lord and keeping he in my thoughts continually. Please don't think I'm perfect, because I'm far from it, but these are the things that I strive to do. Studying the scriptures is important to me, as well as prayer, to always be thankful for everything I'm blessed with. Every week I go to church to worship and partake of the sacrament to renew my covenants. Living my faith is not a once a week thing, it's a lifestyle, it's something that parts of me and affects everything I do.
