Hi I'm Trina

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In high school, I learned to love math and chemistry. This lead me to study Chemical Engineering during my undergraduate. From there, I decided that I wanted to study science as it relates to the human body, so I went to graduate school and earned a PhD in Molecular Biology. I love to learn! I think it is so important to spend our energy on worthwhile endeavors, including education. I love learning and truly enjoyed my time in the scientific world. However, I love my family even more. My wonderful husband and I are currently living out of state while he works on a JD/MBA. I love being a wife and am so excited to become a mother - we are expecting our first baby at Christmas time! I can't wait to focus my life on being a loving wife and mother and teaching our son to love learning as much as I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and I find joy and strength in following the commandments. I also find strength in daily prayer and scripture study that allow me to feel the Lord's influence in my life.

How I live my faith

In our ward, I am involved in music. I love the Spirit that music invites. I lead the music during our worship services and I also direct the ward choir. It has been so wonderful to be surrounded by uplifting music!
