Hi I'm Andrew

I love playing basketball and making music. I'm currently studying at Utah State University. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in Utah and served a mission in Montana. I have been blessed with a fantastic family, and I am so grateful for them. I love playing basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee. Music is also a big part of my life. I play the piano and a bit of guitar. I'm currently going to school at Utah State University! I love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon, prayed, and found out for myself that this is the true church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures and praying every day. I try to be like my Savior Jesus Christ. I serve in the church whenever I can. I recently returned from serving a full-time two year mission to the great state of Montana!

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

The Word of Wisdom is a revelation from God which was a given to a modern day prophet. Through it God has let us know what is appropriate to eat and drink. Like all of God's commandments, we are blessed when we are obedient. Show more Show less

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

The Lord commanded us to give a tenth of what we receive back to Him. Even though this is reason enough to obey, he blesses us even more when we follow this commandment. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Definitely not. We are willing to help out whoever we can. In fact, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is often the first organization to respond to natural disasters. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Read the Book of Mormon, and then pray to God asking with faith if it is true. You don't have to take anyone's word for it, you can know for yourself. Show more Show less

Who chooses the Mormon prophet?

We believe that God has always chosen prophets, and that He still chooses them today. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Faith to me is trusting in God. Trusting that Jesus Christ really did suffer and die for me. Trusting that if I do my best and follow what God has asked that he will bless me. Trusting that God loves me. Show more Show less

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Yes we very much do. We believe that The Book of Mormon and Bible both contain the fulness of the Gospel. I personally love the Bible. The accounts of the prophets of the Old Testament and the Savior's own ministry in the New help me in my life. Show more Show less
