Hi I'm Brian

I have a happy family. I'm a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I grew up in Utah and then served as a missionary for two years in northern England. While at university, my sweetheart agreed to marry me. We've grown our family to include five children. We learn so much from them. They keep us busy and on our toes. I've enjoyed working in education, first as a math teacher and now as an administrator. I have loved even more building a happy family and serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches truth that brings me and my family true joy and happiness. Whether it is guidance about how to best serve as a father in a family or counsel on how to follow the Savior, His Church provides activities and teachings that bring me joy and peace in this life and hope of eternal life in the next.

How I live my faith

Three-hour Sunday meetings, monthly visits to neighbors, tithing, temple attendance, and serving in my assignment in my congregation, and more, are activities that provide answers from heaven in the form of spiritual blessings and answers to prayer.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Brian
We sometimes talk about a story in the Book of Mormon where a prophet compares knowledge to a seed. If we will take care of a seed, the seed will grow into a flourishing tree. In the same way, if we will give attention and try some of the teachings found in "Mormonism," we will find happiness and joy that grows into "a tree springing up unto everlasting life" (Book of Mormon).
