Hi I'm Jodi

I grew up in southern California. I am musician. I'm a mother of twins. I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my Savior. I love my family. I love my friends. I love music. I have a husband and six kids. We live a busy, happy music-filled life. I'm a grad student, working on my Masters in choral conducting. I'm a piano teacher. I especially love working with teenagers. I love helping them find their strengths. I love watching them figure out who they are, what they are good at, and find the confidence to become who they want to be and who they are supposed to become.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Lord, so much. I love my Savior. I know he died for me, and I know he lives that I may live. He helps me to change and be who he wants me to be. He is always here with me by my side. I love praying. I love talking to Heavenly Father and knowing he will answer my prayers. I love the temple. I love the spirit in the temple and the peace. I love the time I get with God in the temple. I love knowing that my family is sealed together forever. I love the prophet, President Monson. I love his words and the teachings of the leaders of the church. I love the scriptures and the spirit that comes into my life from reading the scriptures. I love the priesthood. I love the blessings Heavenly Father shares with me through the priesthood. These things fill my life with such goodness and happiness.

How I live my faith

Music...I love music that praises my Savior, that testifies of him. I try and fill my life with music as much as I can. I love conducting choirs. Having the opportunity to conduct or sing with a group, with the common purpose of testifying of Christ is one of the greatest blessings in my life. I love not only the human connection that comes from, but my life is filled with the spirit of Christ by doing this.
