Hi I'm John Pearson

Grew up in Utah, currently work at corporate Walmart in Arkansas and am a graduate student at the University of Arkansas.

About Me

My name is John. I am married to my best friend and beautiful wife Cristy and we have a 1 year old daughter and are expecting a baby boy in January, are are thinking we will name him Paxton. I work at Walmart as a buyer and am currently a business graduate student at the university of Arkansas. I love all sports and actively participate and watch them regularly.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member first and foremost because I love my Savior and know that this is his restored church on the earth today. I was born into a family that was very active in the gospel and through the example of family and friends came to develop a relationship with my loving Heavenly Father and ultimately through reading the Book of Mormon and praying to Heavenly Father of its divinity received a witness through the Holy Spirit that it is the word of God brought forth in this dispensation to witness of the restored gospel. I love the fruits of the gospel, the person that the teachings motivate me to be and the perspective it gives on my purpose in life. I love the people that the gospel has brought into my life as well and know it is the fruit of those who have a testimony of Jesus Christ and his restored Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in my church in a leadership position where I have the responsibility of the temporal and spiritual welfare of all the men and their families. My favorite part is visiting the families in their homes and getting to know them and especially their children. It requires a lot of time and prayers in their behalf, but in return my family is also very blessed as I serve as the savior would have me do. I also really enjoy working with the other leaders of the church and learn so much from the example of each and every one of them. I really appreciate the opportunity to serve as I believe my Savior would if he were on the earth today.

What do Mormons believe about family?

John Pearson
I believe families are the central unit on this earth and the strength of the family is key to both success int this life and happiness in the eternities. I believe that my family can be together forever if we do as the Savior asks. Show more Show less
