Hi I'm Pete

I love being a Mormon. I have three children born in three states, we now live in Arizona and love everything about it

About Me

I am a 35 year old professional foot fixer(aka. Podiatrist) who enjoys getting home each day and being tackled by my three kids. I have spent the last 11+ years of my life going to school and making memories with my best friend and eternal companion. We got married just before the end of the world in 1999 and headed to a far off place called Laramie, Wyoming were we started our married life. I am a former/has been, college football player and am now a full time dad and husband. I was voted "most likely to be a good dad" in high school and find more joy in being a father and husband than I ever did on the football field. If I had a close second to being a husband and father it would be spending time in 4-low on some off road trail surrounded by family and our Father in Heaven's wonderful creations.

Why I am a Mormon

I don't have a miraculous conversion story but I do think it is a miracle to have been raised by 2 great parents who taught me the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that the principles of the Gospel have shaped who I am today. I believe we all belong to a family and that we all are children of a Father in Heaven who loves us and I try to remember that as I interact with people each day. I love teaching my children the gospel and enjoy when they teach me in return by following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. I choose each day to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and to try and live a life after His example. I recognize that we all have the freedom to choose how or what we worship and know that choosing to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints blesses my life and my families life each day.

How I live my faith

I believe living my faith means seving others daily not just in my own home but in the professional world I am part of. I think it is important that we have a perspective that helps us to see each person as they really are, children of our Father in Heaven. I am reminded of this each week as I attend church meetings and as we set aside time at home to teach our family about our Saviour and his Gospel. I love to attend the Temple where I learn more about who I am, why I am here on this earth and who I have the potential of spending eternity with as I try to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There are answers to each problem in life and I know that I have found them and continue to find them daily by living my faith.
