Hi I'm Ann Marie

Being a member of the LDS church has transformed my life for which I will always be grateful!!! I Am A Mormon and I Love It!

About Me

I was born in Birmingham, England and raised in Newport, South Wales UK. I was so blessed to have the wonderful parents I did, they were incredibly kind and sacrificed so much for me and my family. I was quite the Tom Boy growing up, (and my twin also), and played on most if not all the sports teams that my High School had to offer, it was a total blast to be a part of all that fun and adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

That's a great question.........In short I am a Mormon, simply because the Gospel of Jesus Christ IS true, and given that knowledge I would be a fool not to "want" to follow it's precepts, thereby reaping blessings that enrich my life daily. It's truly Wonderful!!! Also, it's Christ's true church and I love him and want to be more like him, and what better way to learn to be more like "Him" than being a member of "His" church??? The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a place where, intellect, and spirituality blend together perfectly, making sense of exactly what it is that God expects of each of us. One can never learn enough when it comes to the Gospel, because it covers where we came from, why you and I are here and where we will be going after we leave this earth.......Questions I think each mortal will one day be forced to ask themself. God has blessed us with a knowledge that answers such pertinent questions that will comfort one and also give them hope as they go through this life and endure all things to the end.

How I live my faith

It's not that complicated, following the Golden Rule is a must, so "Doing unto others" and trying to put myself in someone else’s shoes, helps me to try and understand people better on a more conscious level and strive to be more Christ-like. I know I will never be perfect, but if I can be a better person today than I was yesterday then that is progress and moving in a direction that brings me closer to the Lord.
