Hi I'm Frank

I'm a husband and a father. I am a special agent and a small business owner. I'm a convert to the church. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been happily married since 1995. My wife and I have six kids (three boys and three girls) and we have a wonderful live-in niece. I have been a cop since 2002. I enjoy what I do because I like to help people. I also love being a member of the Church because it provides additional opportunities to serve my family and my neighbors. My close friends know that I am far from perfect and that my family has its share of struggles just like everyone else. But the gospel of Jesus Christ gives us a sense of meaning and purpose that I have not found anywhere else in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I think we all are looking for truth to one degree or another. I was looking for a set of principles to live my life by that would maximize the peace and happiness in my life and the lives of my loved ones. When I found the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I found those principles that provide a sort of universal happiness, grounded in faith, repentance, baptism and the guiding influence of the Holy Ghost. When I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon, I feel the spiritual confirmation that God is real and that he loves us dearly, in spite of the evil that is all around us. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me closer to my Heavenly Father and brings peace and happiness to my family.

How I live my faith

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints provides endless opportunities to serve in my community. Most people I know can't say that they know 200 people that live within a mile or two of their home. Being active in my church keeps me connected to a lot of my neighbors. I think we can often make the biggest impact on people through the smallest gestures. A kind word. A smile. A small act of service here or there. That's what Christ taught. That's what brings people together.

What is the First Vision?

Frank
I love knowing that God talked to His prophets in the ancient scriptures. I love knowing that God has not left us without His voice in modern times. The First Vision is the advent of God the Father and Jesus Christ calling Joseph Smith as a prophet in these latter days. Show more Show less
