Hi I'm Brandon

I am a dental student with a one month old son. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I love being parents. It is a challenge to balance school and family responsibilities, but I find that as I put God first, everything else falls into place. Everyday is a miracle and I am amazed at how much God blesses us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a several generation Mormon. Most of my Mormon anscestors joined the church in England and sailed to America over a hundred years ago. However, everybody comes to a point in life when we have to figure out for ourselves what our relationship with God is and how best to worship Him. When I was 14 years old I read the Book of Mormon for the first time by myself. After I was finished, I prayed to know whether it was true. I then felt a feeling I had never felt before. It was a warm, peaceful, and undeniable answer to my prayer, that indeed the Book of Mormon is from God. Since that time I have again felt many, many times that same Spirit of God testify to me that the Book of Mormon is truly inspired of God. Thus, Jospeh Smith was a prophet of God and the Church of Jesus Christ was restored to Earth. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try my best to do what Jesus would do. I try to work hard in my studies at school, be the best husband and dad I can be, and help my neighbors however I can. I pray and study the scriptures every day, and it makes all the difference.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

All young men are called to serve a mission for two years. Of course, each young man can choose for himself whether he will go, but we truly believe that God want us to share His gospel. We usually go when we are 19 years old. I went to the Islands of Samoa and learned to really love the Samoan people. I am so grateful that I went on a mission. Show more Show less
