Hi I'm Levi

I'm proud to be a Mormon

About Me

Right now I'm a missionary for the church. Before my mission I went to College, I only had time to study my general eds. I eventually plan to go into International Law. I love preforming arts. I've played the piano since I was about six, and I later picked up the trombone. I've worked as techie for a local opera house focusing mostly on sound design. Before my mission I started learning ballroom dance, the waltz is by far my favorite. I love reading. Anything I can get my hands on. My favorite genre is either Fantasy or Historical Fiction.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS Church. I honestly wasn't truly converted to the gospel until I was almost 19. I was assigned to teach one Sunday about the life of Jesus Christ. Throughout the week I read the scriptures, the Gospel Principles book, and parts of Jesus the Christ. Finally, the night before I had to teach, I knelt down and prayed to have a testimony of the Truths I was about to teach, something I had never done before in my life. The spirit testified to me that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, that he came to this world to suffer so that we could return to live with Heavenly Father. I know that he loves us and understands us better than anyone else.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission for two years in the Salt Lake City Area. Before more mission I lived the standards of the Church, but didn't actively share the Gospel with my friends. They knew the standards that I kept but not much more than that. Right now, not sharing the gospel with them is something I regret deeply.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Levi
The best way to learn for yourself that "Mormonism" is true is by reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it. If the Book of Mormon is true, then Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith saw God the Father and his Son, and the only true church has been once again restored in these days. I know that if you ask God, our Heavenly Father, he will answer you. But you have to ask with faith that he will answer, a real desire to know, and the intent to change your life. If you do, you'll get your answer. Show more Show less
