Hi I'm Tapie

Hi, I'm a Mormon who loves our Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ. I am a husband, father of eight children & grandfather.

About Me

I am a son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. I have attended Fullerton Community College, Brigham Young University and Ohio University. In my professional life, I have been a University Professor, Chief Executive Officer, Corporate Treasurer, Chief Information Officer, Executive Director and Chairman of the Board. I have had the privilege of being a consultant to many small, medium and large organizations as well as many educational institutions. Also, I have consulted and given seminars in the nations of Tanzania, China, Pakistan, India, United Arab Emirates, England, The Netherlands, Egypt, Canada, Ecuador and Russia. I have been a professor and or adjunct professor at California State University San Bernardino (Tenured Professor), University of Dar es Salaam (Visiting Professor), University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (Visiting Professor), University of California-Riverside, Claremont Graduate University, University of La Verne, Whittier College, Ohio University and Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to this Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was several days short of turning nine years old. My mother and I became converts because of the sweet truths taught to us. I served a mission to the Western States Mission. Being a convert to the church, I have had to develop my own legacy. I had the privilege of having married the right woman, in the right place, at the right time, which allowed us to have eight wonderful children. Each child has grown and developed. Thanks to my wife, Karen, our children learned to set the bar high for homework and school grades. She gave positive love to each and every child as needed. She helped each boy to earn the rank of Eagle Scout and receive the Duty to God. She helped the girls ear the Young Woman’s Medallion. Each child learned a love for working hard, attending to church services, firesides, seminary, and other church activities. Each child was given individual attention and learned to pray, participate in family scripture readings, and Family Home Evening. Our children learned to love our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior as much as we did. Our success was led by my sweet wife. Karen truly has been my soul mate and help mate and play mate through all these years. Though all of her hard work, she has become an angel to me, our children, and others in need. I am a Mormon because it feels and is right. I love it. My prayers have been answer too many time to deny the truthfulness of this Church.
