Hi I'm Christian in name and religion

Married and still super excited!

About Me

I'm a son, a brother, a friend, and I'm married to an amazing woman. I studied instrumentation and control and nuclear technology at a small technical college. I graduated May 2011 and I'm looking for my career. I help friends and family keep their computers working. I collect key chains. I love music and love to sing. I served a 2 year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint in northern Italy e sì parlo italiano! I loved my mission and wouldn't have traded it for anything. Serving my God through continually helping his children is true religion and I still search for opportunities to continue that as I search to live in this world but not of it though that alone is a continual struggle.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the doctrines and principles taught by the past and present prophets and apostles are all true. I try my best to live the teachings of the church and I've seen how it makes me happy when I do and how I feel a void when I stray. I love the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It is so personal to me. I know that because He came lived, suffered, died, and rose again I can repent, change, when I mess up. I,also, know that I can return to live with not only Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost after I die but I can also live with my family forever and that our family relationships can remain. I have seen lives changed for the better as they embrace the gospel and I've seen my life changed as I embrace it more and more. Hope, faith, and a desire to serve increase and a new brighter outlook on life enters the life of all who will embrace the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I also look forward to being married to by lovely fiancee to love and cherish for time and all eternity.

How I live my faith

Aside from family, friends, and work, I attend church every week. Currently I'm the ward's financial clerk and I ensure that all donations are accounted for in the Lord's way. I do my best to visit every family/individual on my hometeaching list and to be available to help them with whatever they need temporal or spiritual when they need it. I also study the scriptures on my own and with my fiancee daily. We're rotating through the words of the prophets of old The Book of Mormon, The Old Testament, The New Testament, The Doctrine and Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price, the words of the living prophet and apostles from the last General Conference and from the current month's Ensign magazine, and other church manuals. I try to follow Christ's example and to be an example to anyone watching. As well as try to live so I am always ready to share what I believe.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Christian in name and religion
No. We are very grateful that Joseph Smith was the messenger God sent to restore the church of Christ again to the earth so that we can have it today. We worship God, our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Christian in name and religion
I have been home from serving a mission in northern Italy about two years now and I can testify that "Mormon missionaries" proselyte because of love for those around them. They, also, know that the message that they carry will enhance the life of everyone who will experiment on their words. Show more Show less

Are Mormons Christians?

Christian in name and religion
The simplest answer to this question is my first name Christian. The word Christian is used in the New Testament of the Bible to denote those who follow Jesus Christ. A few years ago I lived in Christian County, back then I used to say, "My name is Christian I am a Christian and I live in Christian County." Show more Show less
