Hi I'm Mike

I love my Savior, Jesus Christ, I am a husband and father of 3, a blue collar worker, a part-time writer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of 3 children, two from a previous marriage. I have a bachelors in Psychology, and for a living I am a technical support agent, helping people fix problems with their computers. I love walks, Inspirational music and movies and sharing them, and I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because I love Christ. I've found all the answers to how to learn more about him and to follow his teachings by being a member of this church. Every good thing in this life that we or anyone does is dependent upon the Atonement of Jesus Christ. For many years I have struggled with things, unaware of how much the Lord had blessed me because of the gift of his Son's life, atonement, death, and resurrection I am convinced of the need for ongoing revelation in our day so that we can return and live with our Father in Heaven again. It is also a great blessing that God has once again bestowed the authority to act in his name here on earth for the benefit of his Children. I have a testimony of this, and have such a love for my Father in Heaven because of this. My hope is that all people would be able to feel just a part of the love Christ has for them, for it will change their lives forever, and help them to feel a joy beyond compare. The Book of Mormon contains promises given by the Lord to those who keep his commandments, promises that help us get closer to him. Knowing these promises helps me to better understand that the reason we are here isn't to gain status, wealth, or other worldly pursuits, but to try to become more like Christ. That is what we will take with us when we leave this life and return to him. I think of how joyous it will be when that time comes, despite my imperfections, if I can just do my best to live more like him. I also know that the Temple is a sacred place, where the spirit of the Lord may be felt more clear there than any other place on earth. It will change lives for those who go there.

How I live my faith

In addition to trying to do my church responsibilities in a way I believe the Lord would have me do them, I also have a facebook page devoted to spreading LDS YouTube content. It takes just a few minutes of my day, but I enjoy doing it.

What do Mormons believe about "eternal life?"

Mike
As I have been taught, it is life with God, Jesus Christ, and our family, both immediate and extended. And all are spirit children of our Father in Heaven, no matter what family you come from or are in now. Show more Show less
