Hi I'm Michelle Leanne

I love helping performing arts, flowers and learning to cook. I am a mormon.

About Me

Recently, I am experiencing an empty nest. My children are grown and married now. I have grandchildren and enjoy them when they are visiting. My activities revolved around my children's when they were home. I'm trying to branch out on my own and find out what is "me". I enjoy working with the local ballet company that my youngest daughter is involved in and helping them with their wonderful productions. Most cooking experiences I have had was with necessity and speed when my children were growing up. I love good food and I'm trying to learn how to cook it by taking the time! Sewing, outside work, painting and family history are more of my interests.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had many difficulties in my life, especially growing up. I have struggled and continue to struggle with the effects of these through all my life. The one constant I held onto was prayer. I knew He heard me no matter what. I knew I was precious to Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I knew they wouldn't stop listening or helping me. This grew and filled my "lamp" over time. I have had experiences that helped me see His power and feel His sweet spirit. I want to be better. I want to learn and grow and become a worthy daughter of God.

How I live my faith

My faith is a precious to me. I have experiences that have helped my faith grow over time. Saying my prayers everyday; reading the scriptures; living righteously are all goals that help. I try to share my faith to my family members by remembering to use priesthood blessings; saying prayers and giving advice I think Heavely Father would want my family members to know and even my friends. It isn't easy at times. Living my faith has strengthened my faith and hopefully given more strength to those who I care about.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

Michelle Leanne
I think we all know who we truly are inside and we seek it. We are all Heavenly Father's children. When we hear the truth we feel a spark. We can feel it through thoughtfulness, a sweet confirmation of it or "something we have always known". It has been difficult to let others know of the gospel in earlier times. I think the internet and other technologies have helped. However, nothing helps us more than us communicating face to face and sharing our testimonies. Show more Show less
