Hi I'm Pamela Dee

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of three kids, ages 18, 20, and 28. I love reading, quilting, 4-wheeling, traveling, and hanging out with my immediate and extended family. I am a 4th grade teacher and love my job. It's great being around kids every day. They are so honest, full of hope, and generally happy. I have a great life!

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Even though I have experienced much adversity in my life, I continue to have faith in Him and in his teachings. I have found that no matter what life hands me, I can overcome anything because I know that I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me and wants what is best for me. I know we are given adversity to make us stronger and bring us closer to the Savior. I am humbled by His love for me. I have literally felt his love buoy me up and help me endure the trials I have been given. I know that my family is eternal! It is comforting to know that death is just a temporary separation and that we will all be reunited someday. I strive to live righteously so that I can be worthy to live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I have generally worked with the youth in my ward. I love being around them and serving them. I learn so much from them and admire their strength in spite of the challenges they face in today's world. The youth of the church give me hope for the future. Most of them are striving to do what's right and are making positive contributions to their school and community.

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Pamela Dee
Generally the activities of Mormon missionaries are funded by his/her family. Missionaries are encouraged to save money previous to their mission to help cover the costs. In circumstances where the missionary's family is unable to financially support him/her, members of his/her ward or branch offer the support. Members can also contribute to the General Mission Fund to support missionary work wherever it is needed. My son is currently serving a mission for the Church. I am humbled by the privilege of supporting him in this important work. He is so anxious to share what he knows to be true about the Savior, Jesus Christ and the Restoration of the Gospel. I would give anything so that he can fulfill his dream of serving a full-time mission and bringing souls unto Christ.   Show more Show less
