Hi I'm Tracy

I live in Ontario, Canada. I love my family, good food, friends and learning.

About Me

I am a wife, mother and now a grandmother. My family is the most important part of my life. I love to spend time with my children & grandchildren. I have always been creative making things with my hands to share with others. Knitting, sewing, calligraphy, rubber stamping & more. If asked to make something for a family or church get together I prefer baking. I love to share my special treats. I was laid off from my job & decided to go back to school. I was able to complete 1 year of college in a photography program. It was an amazing experience. I was recently recalled to my job & hope to somehow finish school.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 18 years old. I made a new friend (Lori), way back in grade 7. She is a Mormon. I could see how good her family treated one another & how I felt when I was with them. I loved being with them. I wanted to have those same feelings in my life. I wanted to learn more, so I began going to Church & youth activities. It was so much fun & everything felt right. Even though life isn't always easy the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me hope and peace. I know that my Savior loves me and I can feel his presence guiding me and helping me to be the best that I can be. I love my family & the Gospel of Jesus Christ is centered around families & strengthens families & helps us to love each other better. The Church has helped me to understand the importance of our relationships with one another & that we can have those connections forever.

How I live my faith

My favorite day of the week is Sunday. I attend Church and get a spiritual boost each week. I learn more about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father each time I go. I am part of the Presidency of our Women's Organization. We meet together each Sunday for a class to help one another live the Gospel principles that Jesus Christ has taught & we help each other through our shared experiences to strengthen our homes & families. We have an amazing sisterhood that is felt worldwide. Prayer is a daily part of my life. I share my thoughts & feelings with my Heavenly Father, expressing gratitude for my blessings & the gifts he has given me, asking for help, then I listen for the guidance that comes to help me each day. I try to read the scriptures everyday too and find knowledge and wisdom from the life experiences and revelations found within these pages.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Tracy
The missionaries will talk about Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. They will also talk about prayer and reading scriptures and that Heavenly Father loves us, that each one of us is his child and that he cares about each of and knows us.  They will talk about families too. Show more Show less
