Hi I'm Kristin Hatch

I'm a runner, plant lover, prankster, and racquetball national champion. I live to feel the sunshine, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm an Idaho girl and an athlete. I love peaches and ice cream, and my favorite holiday is April Fools. I fully believe we are each capable of conquering great feats. Believe in yourself. Find people to believe in you. Then work diligently until you reach your dreams. I "accidentally" joined the BYU Racquetball team and am now a 2x collegiate All-American National Champion. I find extreme joy in running. I ran a marathon in Ireland in honor of a friend who had Leukemia. I love my job, but especially my employees. They are some of the coolest people I've ever met. I come from a stellar family, and we've experienced many trials. We are strong through our faith. My belief in God is central to every detail of my life. Only through living the gospel can we have true happiness, and to me, being happy is what it's all about! D&C123:17

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because it's what God would have me be! I have done a lot of studying and praying. Time and time again, God has confirmed to me that this is His true church on the Earth. I am a daughter of Heavenly Parents. I have a divine heritage to live up to! I am a Mormon because I know that if I keep the promises I make with God, and live faithfully, I will one day be crowned with glory (D&C 58:4).

How I live my faith

I live my faith by how I live my life. I feel I live it in the day to day things I do in trying to choose God over Satan in all life decisions. Sometimes that's hard, but I can do hard things! I love, love, love reading in the scriptures and discovering truths! There is such immediate and lasting reward in following what is written there. I spent a year and a half in El Salvador teaching the people there about the restoration of the church and helping them have the joy I have in really living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Now I spend a lot of time with the Relief Society. As women, we work to strengthen the faith of others, help when someone's down, and we do all kinds of fun things together!

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Kristin Hatch
In everything we do, we try to emulate our Savior, Jesus Christ. Baptism really is an outward manifestation of an inner commitment to follow Him. Christ was baptized by immersion by one who had the authority to do so. Likewise when a new member decides to commit to follow Christ, they are baptized and are washed clean from all their sins.
