Hi I'm S. Christensen

I'm a Mormon. I am an early-morning Seminary teacher .

About Me

I am a public high school teacher, so I spend most of my time with teenagers. I help students and teachers use technology in school. Before that, I taught freshman, sophomore and junior English. I love to read and be around people. I love my family very much and spend most of my free time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and it has been the only religion I have ever known. I get a good feeling from my belief and have never wanted to look elsewhere. Through the power of prayer and scripture reading I have found answers to my questions in life and have great peace in living the beliefs of my church.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and work in our temple every Saturday. That is just what I do and it makes me very happy. I get strength from this to help me make it through the work week. It is important for me to worship every Sunday. I teach the youth and am currently studying the Book of Mormon for Seminary and the Old Testament in the Bible for Sunday School. I also love to read church historical fiction.

In whom should we have faith?

S. Christensen
Faith needs to be in Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, and our personal Redeemer. It is only through faith on Him and his atonement that we can be saved after all we do to repent of our sins. Faith means acting on promptings and followin the commandments of God as found in His scriptures. Show more Show less
