Hi I'm Hannah

I'm from Portland, Oregon. I'm going to college and studying history. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to read and write. I like history and genealogy. I would like to better learn how to find people in my family history. I am graduating this April with an Associate of Science in General studies. My man comes home from his mission in Florida late April, so we'll see what happens!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon Church. I never really questioned my religion until I was in high school. In high school I rebelled quite a bit. And through many experiences I found the Mormon Church to be true. It wasn't really a "Wha-bam! I know all of a sudden!" It was more gradual. I have found that when I am attending church weekly, doing what I'm supposed to, praying and reading the scriptures, and following Christ's teachings I am more happy. This church has helped me become someone that I am proud of, instead of the person I would have become had I not repented (and continue to repent now) in high school. I actually had a small article published in the November 2010 youth magazine called, "The New Era". It's titled, "What Baptism Means."

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. I try to lead an example for those around me. I attend church on Sundays and go to all my meetings. I love this gospel!
