Hi I'm Daylin

I was raised in Miami, FL. I love the sun and warm weather and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and live far from home. When I come home for the summer I am just happy my nephews and niece remember me! I love my parents and siblings, they've taught me so much. I am third of four children. I love running, watching and playing sports, and eating. I am an Exercise Science major in hopes of becoming a physicians assistant. Life is complicated sometimes but with the sure knowledge I have of a Heavenly Father that loves me, I know that I am never alone and that things will always work out for the best. Bring on the challenges!! haha

Why I am a Mormon

because I found for myself that this church had the truth. I gained a testimony of the Book of Mormon and everything else about the church just fell into place. If the Book of Mormon is true Joseph Smith had to have been a true prophet. These truths make me happy, as well as making the right choices and keeping God's commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively following the words of the prophets. I love learning from and serving others.

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

Daylin
No there are no restrictions. There was in the past, but it was more of a policy than church doctrine. We believe in revelation, receiving line upon line and precept upon precept, and on the Lord's timetable priesthood and all the blessings of the gospel were extended to all worthy church members. There were many praying and pleading prophets who were concerned with that situation and the Lord answered their, and many faithful saints, prayers in 1978. Show more Show less
