Hi I'm Rebecca Leigh

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi there! I am a single LDS gal in her 30s living in Texas who works as a counselor with adults with drug addictions. I love the Gospel and it is the center of my life. For fun, I enjoy camping, traveling, and spending time with family and friends and their pets. :) (I write this with my sister's sweet kitty on my lap.)

Why I am a Mormon

I have a Heavenly Father who knows me. He knows my name. He knows my struggles and my heart. This is the foundation of my testimony. Through the doctrines of this Gospel, I have gained a better understanding of my relationship with my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I believe that Heavenly Father expects us to love one another. I try to show my love through service and kindness. One way I do this is by visiting with other women in my church and teaching the women's group on Sunday. I also do a lot of service with my family and am grateful for the opportunity.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Rebecca Leigh
You know those posters that say something to the effect of "Everything I Need to Know, I learned in Kindergarten." I feel like that same concept can be applied to families. In my family, I have learned how to serve, what it means to love, how to be self-less, and so on. Being part of a family helps me to know more about my Savior and, hopefully, become more like Him. It helps me to understand a portion of the love my Heavenly Father has for me. Next to the Gospel, my family is the most important thing in the world to me. I am grateful to Heavenly Father for my family. Show more Show less
