Hi I'm Spencer

I grew up in Virginia, loved to play soccer and football, and only studied when I thought I couldn't pass a test without it.

About Me

I'm your typical red blooded American who wants to pursue the American Dream (ie. the Pursuit of Happiness) with my wife and kids. I love my family, and all I think about it how to take care of them. I know that my greatest responsibility in life is to raise them in love, protect them, and provide for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Together, my wife and I view this as our greatest achievement in life. Sure, I might make a little more money if my focus in life were on worldly fame and recognition of achievement, but recognition from my wife and kids on being Dad of the year instead of Employee of the Year is much more important to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but had to become converted just like anyone else. For me, that happened around the time I left home to go away to college for a year. At 18, it was a time to decide what I wanted in life, and what course I was going to pursue. Was I going to follow my will, Gods, or could I somehow make the two agree with each other? I always believed what this religion taught, and I believed that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was the way to happiness, but KNOWING it was something that I knew I had to experience. I can testify to you that God is willing to make the truth known to anyone who asks. All we have to do it have faith, and be willing to follow the truth once he reveals it to us. If we are not ready, he will not tell us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being as good on Saturday night as I am on Sunday morning at church.
