Hi I'm Rebecca

I grew up in Arizona, met and married my husband in Utah, and now our growing family lives in California.

About Me

It is my greatest joy to be a wife and a mother. I enjoy singing with my husband, experimenting with my homemaking skills, and learning about the gospel and the world around me. I had the privilege of serving as a missionary in Oregon, where my love of the outdoors was increased as I served the people I met there. Now I am married to my best friend, and taking life's adventures one day at a time.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm glad that I was born and raised in this Church, and the teachings of my youth helped me gain a testimony of its truthfulness. I know that there is a Father in Heaven, who loves each one of us, as we truly are His children. His love is so great that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to make it possible for us to return to His presence. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ called upon Joseph Smith to restore the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth in these latter days. We continue to have living prophets on the earth. President Thomas S. Monson receives revelation to guide us today. I'm so grateful for these truths, and the knowledge of my potential as a child of God.

How I live my faith

I have been able to serve in different capacities as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been a missionary, a leader of young single adult women, and a teacher of toddler age children. Each calling has reinforced a teaching from the Book of Mormon that small and simple things bring about great things (Alma 37:6). Even though at times my efforts to serve seem small, I know that as I exercise my faith to bless others miracles can happen.
