Hi I'm Bill

I have recently retired from a global financial services company. I have traveled the world and experienced much. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my professional life I enjoyed a 45 year career in Banking and Financial Services until I retired in 2012. I worked for several major US based banks and one large global financial services corporation. My responsibility included leadership and the management of very large credit portfolios. I am the father of six wonderful children all married with terrific spouses. My wife and I have twenty beautiful grandchildren. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. In what little spare time I have, my interests include jazz, soccer, photography and history. We have lived in Utah, California and Arizona. My wife and I are currently serving a full time mission for the Church in England with an assignment to single adults under the age of 30.

Why I am a Mormon

The restored Gospel of Jesus Christ provides me a compass in my life. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I have meaning in what I do and a foundation as I negotiate both the challenges and joys of living. These values guide everything I do in my personal choices, family relationships and professional interactions. While I have been a life long member of the Church, I had to search for the truth just as all must do to come to a real discipleship of Jesus Christ. While not perfect, I try to follow Him in what I say and do in order to become a better husband, father and friend.

How I live my faith

As a young man I was honored to serve as a full time missionary in London, England. This experience changed my life as I learned to love and dedicate my service to the wonderful people of England. Over the years that have followed, I have continued to be actively involved in the Church and have held a number of leadership roles including many years in Boy Scouting and youth activities. For more than five years I was the ecclesiastical leader of a congregation of more than 300 members in Southern California.
