Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a native of Seattle, and I firmly believe that the mountains of the Pacific Northwest are among the most beautiful places on earth. I'm a professional software developer. I like to read, and I enjoy doing math. I'm blessed to be married to an amazing woman, and I am the proud father of four children. The best part of my workday is coming home to an enthusiastic greeting of "Daddy!" and giving big hugs to my wife and kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I feel the Holy Ghost when I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I feel it at church and at the temple. I feel it when I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and the prophets. Through the Holy Ghost, I know that Joseph Smith was called by God to restore the Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by following the example of my Savior. I hope that by doing this, I can encourage others to do the same. I try my best to keep the commandments He has given through ancient and modern prophets and every day I find some way I can do better. By doing these things, I find happiness and fulfillment, and the hope of eternal joy. Between the ages of 19 and 21, I served a full-time proselyting mission in the United States. I have helped at church in many capacities from instruction to administration. I love doing my home teaching where I visit other members, share a spiritual message, and make sure that their needs are being met. This is a great way to share our faith and stay connected to each other.
