Hi I'm Leslie

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have many roles in my life but by far my favorites are mother, wife and grandma. I find that knowing that I am a daughter of God is the greatest blessing I have in understanding how to fulfill these important roles. I rely upon my Father in Heaven to magnify me, give me insight and inspiration and lift me in times of discouragement. I am so grateful to have this heavenly help and guidance. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has taught me who I am, where I came from, the purpose of this life and how I can make my life happy and fulfilling. My greatest joys have come as a result of this remarkable foundation.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but like all young people I had to decide for myself if I believed what I had always been taught. After much study and prayer I received a lasting witness that my Heavenly Father had restored His church through the prophet Joseph Smith, that the Book of Mormon was proof of this fact and that Jesus Christ was indeed my Savior. I served a mission for the church when I was a young woman, sharing that witness for 18 months and have recently returned from serving a three year mission with my husband. The Gospel of Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been my greatest source of joy and peace.

How I live my faith

To me, "Living my Faith" means to set an example of what the gospel has taught me about making life happy and fulfilling and creating a strong, loving family. It means finding opportunities to talk to people about what Jesus Christ has done for me, how He has given me hope and optimism and how having answers to life's questions has brought me so much peace.
