Hi I'm Tanner

I'm a lawyer. I love bikes. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband to the sweetest woman in the world, and I'm a father to the cutest baby boy in the world. I am a young associate in a law firm. When I'm not working or playing with my little family, I like to read, I like to explore new places, and I like to build, ride, and dream about bikes.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Spirit has told me in my mind and in my heart that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Jesus Christ's church. As I have studied the Book of Mormon and the Bible and prayed about what I was learning, the Spirit has taught me many truths--that I am a child of heavenly parents, that God has a plan for me and that He has prepared a way for me to accomplish that plan, and that God has given us a prophet to teach us God's will for us in our era. Knowing these things puts everything else in life--my work, my struggles, my family, my trials--into the right perspective. It allows me to be happy and content no matter what is going on around me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to serve others (I'll admit that most of what I know about service I have learned from following my wife and my mom's example). Opportunities to serve in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are diverse and never-ending. I have taught classes about the gospel, scrubbed floors, planned Christmas parties, visited the elderly, collected canned goods for the needy, planted flowers, helped people move, and a thousand other things. My faith is also a big part of how I care for my family. The gospel of Jesus Christ has taught me to be a faithful and devoted husband and a loving father. The more I learn about the gospel in prayer and studying the scriptures, the more I want to emulate Christ's example in all areas of my life.
