Hi I'm Brittney

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. I am a wife and mother. I love to sew and blog. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. I'm Brittney. I am married to the best guy in the world I may be biased but hey, I love him! We have a little girl who makes us laugh everyday. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Financial Economics and my husband graduated with a Business Management degree. I stay at home with my little girl and I love it-most of the time- I don't so much like stinky diapers. I also love sewing and crafting, crochet, ballroom dancing and photography. My life is pretty simple but I wouldn't trade it for anything!

Why I am a Mormon

Trying to narrow the reasons for my religious beliefs down to one statement is very difficult for me. There are so many reasons I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because deep down, I know that the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are true. I am a Mormon because I want my family to be together forever. I am Mormon because through His church I can find peace in this crazy world. But, when I really narrow all my reasons down to one statement, I find myself realizing that the reason I am Mormon is because I know that I could do nothing without the Lord. Sure, I could attempt things and maybe even be successful in a few areas if I didn't have the Lord in my life. But, I would never enjoy life as much, I would never feel as much peace, I would never have that incredible feeling that comes when I realize that no matter what life brings my way, I will be able to handle it. The Lord lifts our burdens and comforts our sorrows. In the end, that is what I need most. I need His influence in my life because without it, life would just be life- there would be no purpose, there would be no joy.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Compassionate Service committee. We try to help meet the individual needs of sisters in our ward by providing meals when needed, being a friend in hard times, and encouraging sisters to be involved in the church. As a mom, I serve by teaching my little girl about prayer, faith, her Father in Heaven and His plan for her, etc. Being a mom is the most important way I live my faith.
