Hi I'm Rickard W.

I grew up in Idaho. I now live in Washington and work for an aerospace company, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

My name is the Swedish version of Richard. My ansestors came from Denmark and Sweden in the 1800's. I have been married for 30 years and have 5 children and two grandchildren. My 2 oldest sons are in college and my oldest daughter is married. My 2 youngest were adopted as an infant and at 3 years old. They are now in JR high and high school. I have worked with the Boy Scouts od America for over 20 years and enjoy hiking and camping.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not just because of the emphasis on the Family and eternal relationships, but because I know that Christ lives and his Church is on the earth today. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is lead by a living prophet and apostles. If I follow their example and teachings, I can return to live with my Heavely Father with my wife and children someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continuing to learn what the Savior wants me to do to serve others. I teach my children the importance of reading the scriptures, personal and family prayer and the need for family relationships. I study the gospel of Jesus Christ and try and live by His teachings. I am trying to share the gospel with others through example. I have worked with the young men as a Young Men's Organization President and as a Scout Master. I have had the opportunity to serve a councilor for 4 bishops and currently am a finance clerk and teacher.
