Hi I'm Brendan Jay

I live in Arizona. I dupstep. I run with bulls. I'm a drummer. I love my country. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Brendan and I am a full-time college student who studies accounting. I also have a part-time job driving the yellow school bus and I love every second of it! I have found playing music a spiritual and glorious experience. When time permits, friends and I get together and we head on a musical journey. The peak of my week is when my friends and I get together every Wednesday night to play ultimate Frisbee. I have about 10 different news apps on my iphone. Staying up-to-date on current events is important to me. I enjoy watching and reading about politics. I love reading books and fine cinema is always appreciated. I come from a family of five kids championed by my mom and dad. I am the foundation, the light, the beacon, the middle child.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a very spiritual person yet a logical thinker. I am constantly trying to put pieces together to make sense of them, and then I see what am I feeling. Through this process, I have come to find and know Gods church on earth. The whole Mormon church hangs on if the Book of Mormon is true or not. I have read the Book of Mormon. I have prayed about it. It is true. It brought me closer to Jesus Christ, and showed me what I need to do to get back to live with God again.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday school teacher in my church. I love teaching people through my experience the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is of paramount importance to me that I live what I teach. That is how I live my faith. I discovered this philosophy while serving a mission in Sydney, Australia. I learned the best way to teach people, is to let them see the way you live your life. I am the furthest from perfect, but I reflect daily on what I can do better.
