Hi I'm Julie Weiss

I have been a Mormon all my life. It has blessed my life immensely.

About Me

Hi there, I'm a mother of three great kids ages15, 11 & 8. I love to write, read, sing, act and do genealogy. I am a preschool teacher. I love being teaching.

Why I am a Mormon

Yes, I grew up as a Mormon. Some may think that I'm just following the path my parents laid out for me, but it is so much more. There comes a time in your life where you have to decide what is right for you and seriously ponder what you've been taught and pray about it. I did just that and now I know with a surety that this is the Lord Jesus Christ's true church on the face of the earth. He is real, Heavenly Father is real. They love us unconditionally. I know that we have a true prophet that leads the church through the guidance of Jesus Christ. I have learned for myself that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, translated--not written--by the Prophet Joseph Smith. It is a companion to the Bible. They complement each other and help us understand them both.

How I live my faith

I try to be a good person, a good Christian in the way I treat people. I try to be a good neighbor. I want to follow the counsel of the Prophet because when I do, I feel happy inside because I feel the Spirit. I love to read the scriptures with my family. I love to teach my children how to pray--our Heavenly Father knows us and loves us unconditionally and wants to be there in our lives and help us on our life's journey.
