Hi I'm Rebekah

I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother. I love to learn, travel, volunteer. I am a Cub Scouter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom, of three energetic boys, and one beautiful daughter. There is a great sense of satisfaction in watching my children grow and develop, into the adults they will become. Reading is a favorite past time, even though I haven't been able to do as much reading lately. This time in my life is busy, busy... Between taking children to school, Helping children still at home, errands, sewing different project I have lying around the house, cooking, cleaning, and being a Cub Master for the boys in two units. I am LOVING IT... Breath... Everything will be fine and turn out great. Planning parties or any fun event is always enjoyable. Being able to see a persons face after you have worked and planned just for them, priceless.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, by two wonderful parents, who did the best they could. As a teenager I started to not want to go to church anymore. I was called as a Primary teacher, teaching the 3-4 year old. One Sunday I received a card form one of these precious children that simple stated, "Thank you for being my teacher. I Love You" It was at that moment that I knew I could not turn my back on the church. Just like this 3 year old loved me, and looked up to me, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Love Me, Too. I look up to them. What ever my petty reasons I could not leave them. Granted, I still had a long way to go in gaining my own testimony, which came little by little. Which I am still working on today. How can you turn your back on something, so correct as the Gospel of Jesus Christ and still be happy? I can't do that.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am in to the Cub Scout Program, as Cub Master. This came as a total shock, but I am looking forward to working with the boys and having many fun, learning, growing adventures. At home I teach the gospel of Jesus Christ to my children through example, scripture reading, family and individual prayer, and weekly Family Home Evenings. Most importantly, I try to live my life as Christ would have me live and to be an example to others.

When come to Relief Society you automatically have a group of friends and sisters that you can count on. We teach and learn of Christ and his Gospel, how to improve our families, basic self-reliance skills, and how to become the best we can be. We also help were ever there is a need. Show more Show less
