Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a Momma. I'm a Nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom, of 2 young children 6 days a week and a nurse the other day. I feel blessed to have a job that lets me be with my children a majority of the time. My passion is photography. My camara comes with me to every event, big or small. I consider it my form of journaling. I also enjoy experimenting with recipes and using my family as guinea pigs.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and had parents who were/ are very dedicated to God and living life according to the teachings of the Church. I saw as a child how happy this made them and wanted that for myself. For me living life as a Mormon makes life simpler and brings me joy. There were many choices I did not have to make as a teenager, because I had already decided to be a dedicated Mormon and do things that will please God. I believe this is what has set me and my own family on the successful path we are on today. I am Mormon because it brings me Joy!

How I live my faith

I am currently serving the children in our congregation. The ages range from 18 months to 11 years. I plan actvities, teach, encourage and council with the children to help them develop a relationship with God. It is a rewarding place to serve in the church. It is wonderful to see them learn and come closer to their Heavenly Father.
