Hi I'm Keith Byron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family, nature photography, hiking, gardening and vacations.

Why I am a Mormon

Once I had leaned for myself that the Book of Mormon was a true record of scripture and that Joseph Smith was a prophet that talked with and listened to God, I felt that I must gain a greater understanding about what God wanted me to do. As I learn and serve others, I become stronger in my beliefs and have more experiences that confirm why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

Having a wife a children helps me keep perspective on what is important. Serving as a Bishop gives me a great opportunity to serve and grow spiritualy. I get to see some of the greatest acts of service and love as well as share some of the most difficult challenges that God's children can face.

What is the Law of Chastity?

Keith Byron
God loves us and wants us to have strong marriage and family relationships. The law of chastity was given to man by God that we might treat our bodies and others' bodies with the respect and reverance that God intended us to have. It is an important part of a proper marriage relationship. It is a great benefit to have sexual purity before and during a marriage. It strengthens and blesses marriages and families. Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Keith Byron
We believe that Jesus Christ loves everyone. He has commanded that everyone (except little children) must be baptized to enter into His kingdom. There are many who, by no fault of their own, haven't had the chance to be baptized into Christ's Church. It is with great love and respect that we provide them the same opportunity we have had. No one is forced, it will be up to them to choose for themselves. They may accept their baptism or reject it. This will ensure that all will receive the opportunity for baptism. Show more Show less
