Hi I'm Daniel Allen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Over seven years ago I returned from an LDS mission to Rosario, Argentina. Since then I have married a beautiful woman in the Salt Lake Temple, and we have 2 children who bring a great load of joy to each day I have here on earth. I am a student at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where I am studying to become a physical therapist. I love sports! I am a big college football fan and I will always cheer for Michigan! Go Blue. I enjoy playing and watching sports and pretty much doing anything sports related. I am kind of hyperactive so I keep busy doing random things outside. It is nice to not be idle.

Why I am a Mormon

I try to do everything I can to return to my Heavenly Father and I know that the teachings of the LDS/Mormon church show me the path to return to him. One of those paths is Eternal Marriage in a Temple. I am grateful that my family is forever bound together by the the power of the Priesthood.

How I live my faith

In my current situation I am often the only member that my fellow classmates interact with. I try to demonstrate my faith by being an example of what a Christian should be. I strive to make it clear that I have special standards that I live by, that I believe will help me to be closer to my Father in Heaven.

Are Mormons Christians?

Daniel Allen
YES! Mormons base all parts of their religion on the Basic principles that Christ himself setup on the earth during his ministry. In the Book of Mormon there is a verse that reads, "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophecy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins."
