Hi I'm Keith
About Me
I am a banker who lives in Las Vegas with my wife of 40 years. We have 5 children, all grown and on their own...well, pretty much on their own. I've been a marathon runner, a scoutmaster, a computer addict, a father and a grandfather...not in that order, of course...being a father has always been what I really loved. I am sad that my children grew up...but, guess what? Yes, GRANDCHILDREN!
Why I am a Mormon
My family has a long history with the Mormon Church going back a number of generations. I served for 2 1/4 years as a young missionary in Guatemala and El Salvador. Despite "growing up Mormon", I still had to find out for myself if Christ really is the "Savior" and that the opportunity to make those covenants that will enable us to return to live with Him is available once again on the earth. Why am I a Mormon? Because, it makes me happy.
How I live my faith
Between my work assignments, I have served as a "senior missionary". For 2 1/2 years, I served as a full-time volunteer in the local office which oversees the Mormon missionaries in our area. I am currently serving as a part time Humanitarian Service missionary for the Mormon Church. Unfortunately, I can only serve one or two evenings a week since I am working full-time again. Previously, I worked two days a week, six hours a day for 2 years. I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to take time out of my career to spend time on long-term church assignments.
