Hi I'm Dan

I have lived all over the United States and I am Mormon.

About Me

I am a psychology major. I graduate soon and am looking at graduate school. I have lived all over the United States. I love to read and hang out with my friends. I love movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but like anything that means little in the scope of self discovery. I was 18 and trying to figure out what direction I wanted to take in my life. I was at church and they started to sing a hymn, A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief. I felt an overwhelming love for my Savior for what he did. At the end of the service, we sang a song entitled, Praise to the Man, a song which talks about Joseph Smith. I felt that same feeling about Joseph Smith. I knew the church was true. It has changed my life and brought me spiritually to places that I have never imagined going. It is my lighthouse and the Lord is my rock. I love this church.

How I live my faith

It is actually really easy. I do my best to not place myself in positions where something could happen. I don't go to parties where stuff can happen etc. People generally respect me for what I believe and they are actually a huge part of why I act the way I do. If I try to do anything contrary to what I believe, they are the first to tell me that I should not.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Dan
A ward is localized congregation where members within a geographical area gather to worship and fellowship. A stake contains several wards and a branch is smaller version of a ward where there may not be enough members to have a ward. Show more Show less
