Hi I'm Spencer

I am a cloud computing genius, I am optimistically energetic, and I am a Mormon...

About Me

I am a husband to a spectacular wife... a father to two energetic kids... a cloud computing genius... and I love to play outdoors!

Why I am a Mormon

As a teenager I read The Book of Mormon, and received a personal confirmation that it was true, and that Joesph Smith was a prophet called by God. Additionally, I know that I am a child of my Heavenly Father, and that He knows me, loves me and blesses me. As I have followed the example of Jesus Christ I have found great joy and peace in my life. This comes one day at a time, through the choices we are allotted in life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day of the week. Every Sunday, my small family packs up, and makes a thirty minute drive to the church. This participation, especially the partaking of the sacrament, provides a weekly reminder of the promises we made to God. We also have a few weeks a year that large congregations meet together for conferences, and listen to the prophets voice.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Spencer
The missionaries will talk about Jesus Christ, and what He has done to help us in life. They will talk about prophets, both ancient prophets such as Moses, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They will talk about the basic teachings of the church, and the standards that we live by. They will give you a copy of the Book of Mormon, and ask you to read it, and pray to our Heavenly Father about it. As you pray about the Book of Mormon, and receive a personal confirmation that it is true, they will ask you to become a member of the church, and be baptized into the church. All of the visits are upon your request, and occur at your convenience, and typically occur over several visits. Show more Show less
