Hi I'm Jennifer

About Me

I'm a Mom to nine wonderful children and a wife to a wonderful husband! I like to do things with my family and I like to make them laugh and smile. :) They think I say the funniest things. I love listening to good music. I love how the LDS church's website has made it so easy to listen to good music and programs that are uplifting! It gives my life a better perspective on how I can do better as a mom or parent. I want to do the best I can at raising responsible, dependable children so they will be a benefit to their neighbors and communities. A hobby I would like to start this summer is to get a garden in this year.

Why I am a Mormon

My grandma's family were Mormons, but my grandpa was a Born Again. When my grandma died, my dad lived with his uncle and aunt. My dad learned more about the gospel from them along with his grandparents. This side of my family has pioneer heritage, meaning they came across the plains and helped settle different areas of the West. My mom's ancestors were also pioneers and came across the plains. It's nice to learn from the hard times they had!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying every morning and night. This is very important to me. I also like to listen to music and programs that build my faith in my Savior. My family and I like to take little plates of goodies to friends and neighbors, and sometimes even homemade bread that my husband bakes!

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Jennifer
The Atonement is for everyone, everyday! I love that part of how we can apply it in our lives daily, to become a better person each day, just a little bit better. Jesus Christ suffered pains and afflictions, he paid the price of sin for each ONE of us. He did this so that we can be closer to Him and not have to suffer like he did, if we but repent. Adam and Eve partook of the fruit in the Garden of Eden, thus causing the Fall from being close to Heavenly Father. We needed someone, a Savior, who could help redeem us from our spiritual fallen state. Jesus Christ is our Savior! And that is why he sacrificed His life....It was for us. Show more Show less
