Hi I'm Christopher Goodrum

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married since 2002 and sealed in 2009 with my children in the Oakland Temple in California. My wife is truly a blessing. We joined the church as family in 2008 and has found our lives changed for the better. I enjoy writing and the occasional reading. I love movies and music, as well as writing music. The last few years of my life as been attending an online university where I have earned an AA in Business and a BS in Business Management. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith and spiritual beliefs have been deeply rooted in the Catholic church, but there were answers to questions that couldn't be answered. I sought elsewhere for answers for many years and found that my beliefs became different from the Catholic church in such a way that was either contradictory or unorthodoxed. A visit from Missionaries one evening presented an opportunity for me to discuss my faith. It quickly became clear that we shared the same principles and values. The faith of the Latter-Day Saints helped me find the answers I sought for so long and the Book of Mormon continues to provide answers to life's mysteries. The world has become so much clearer and wondrous since I began reading the Book of Mormon. I am very thankful for the Book of Mormon in my life. It is truly another testament of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my life with honor, dignity, and valor. I try to be respectful to all individuals and uphold my priesthood. As a father and husband, I strengthen my faith by reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and pray to Heavenly Father to help me become a better person. I strive to be aware of the Holy Spirit and trust in its guidance. I let the Spirit guide me, teach me, and provide me with insight that aids me in making better decisions and recognize the proper path to walk.
