Hi I'm Travis Jordan

I'm a Mormon, born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, currently living in Utah

About Me

I am happily married and a proud father of 5 beautiful children! I am also a Learning Manager for a large worldwide organization. Although, I love my job and find great satisfaction developing my career, I truly find joy and satisfaction in spending time with my family. At the end of this life when all is said and done, I hope to be remembered as a good husband and father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised as a Mormon. As a child, my parents taught and demonstrated good christian values. My parents always taught me that the Mormon church was true, and I always believed. Just before I served a mission in Europe, I had a desire to really know for myself whether the Mormon church was true or not. After all, if I was going to teach and preach about the Church for two years, I needed to not just believe BELIEVE that the Church was true I needed to KNOW that it was true. After many faithful and dedicated hours of prayer, I received a witness through the peace that is offered through the Holy Ghost, that the teachings of the Mormon church were true! I also received an overwhelming conviction that Joseph Smith was truly a prophet of God. What a beautiful experience that I will never forget! Ever since that day, I have received many other witnesses concerning the truthfulness of the gospel, and I have tried to live my life according to what I know to be true. What I know to be true is that God lives, Jesus is the Christ the son of God, I know that God speaks to a prophet today, as he did in times of old, and that the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to bless us in this life and the life to come!

How I live my faith

I am a leader in my local ward. I have the opportunity to serve others and teach them about the gospel. I love to help others grow and come unto Jesus Christ. Providing continual service to neighbors, friends, and family is very important to me. I have a busy life, but I always to make time to serve others around me.

What are some things that tell to you there is a God?

Travis Jordan
The miracle of birth, the purity of children, the natural tendency for humanity to love and be loved, the beauty of nature, the love that exists between between a husband and a wife, the "still small voice" that guides people to be kind and serve others, the magnificent orchestration of the universe. All of these things testify that there must be a God. Show more Show less
